nice on j. , love that sexy green sticking out from the backround, almost give's it a surreal vibe, the dashe's of light across the face are interesting, are you trying to look through the small gaping hole's of light, by the look's of it, u almost seem trapped....all in all lovely work j.
I heard about a new German artist here from a friend and after following a bit of a trail, found you. He was right, you are very good. I've been through your gallery and to your web site and can say you have a picture for almost every mood I've had recently, and your self portrait is terrific. I have to do a self portrait during the next few weeks and can't think of anything to put down that wouldn't have the teacher locking me up immediately. Your's is great.
Wilder has given me some very good tips. At first I was like--who the Hell is this guy? But he is great, and just as nuts as the rest of us. That's why I love him so.
I'm glad I saw your gallery. I think I found the right one. And even if I didn't, I'm still glad I saw it!!
I like the mystery of it. The sense of light behind a facade of darkness or a light blocked by darkness, but still coming through. I like it. That duality of sorts...so I keep staring at it to see if I can figure it out.
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

Hope is the quintessential human delusion; at once the source of our greatest strength and weakness.
There is an interesting color combination happening there.
I too find it fascinating that there are limited areas of light on the figure.
