lol...yes...I donno...you can call them maskes...actualy I love faces (makes...whatever) I travel a lot by train just to observe different people, diferent faces...yours are realy expressive and powerful...just can't resist stearing at them...(its better than real faces cauz they can't feel ofended :))

oh yes! watching faces is more than a little interesting. also i like when you regulary meet strangers, like you see the same anonymous face on the busride each day. i finished a painting with a person also with a mask on, but it's not yet online. i'm still not mentally finished with it :) i'll let you know if i do not forget about it.

Okay I do like the quality of "reflection" or "turning" in the figure. My favorite area is the 2 main curved lines defining the left side of the head shape of the figure.

There's a real maturity to this piece that isn't immediately obvious, which is part of it's charm. On first glimpse it's a very childish and crude work, but then you get into it and there are these layers both of meaning and of technique.
